Dear Friends,

I hope that you will participate in the consultations about the City of Vancouver budget. We need to hear from you online or in the meetings about how you want your tax dollars spent. We need to work with your to identify priorities for the City budget.

Come out to one of several community consultations:
Thursday, November 5, 7 to 9 pm: Strathcona Community Centre
Friday, November 6, 6:30 to 8:30 pm: Kensington Community Centre
Saturday, November 7, 3:30 to 5:30 pm: Kitsilano Community Centre

Information on the budget consultation dates and locations, a budget information sheet and an online budget discussion can be found online at vancouver.ca.

During the consultation sessions, participants will have the chance to discuss the importance of things like library hours, book and DVD purchases for libraries, hours of operation at community centres, overtime for the police and fire services, field maintenance in parks, refuse collection schedules and whether or not to shift 2% of taxes from business to residential.

Thanks for your participation.
